It has display shelving, on which play foods can be arranged.  It comes complete with a meal deal set comprising a realistic sandwich pack, a refreshing can of drink, and a bag of crisps, this promises an authentic shopping experience for all who play with it.

In addition, to make the experience even more exciting there is a sleek chalkboard tablet till, conveyor belt, scanner, play money, 'next customer' sign, special offer chalk board, cotton 'bag for life', and payment, rewards and loyalty cards.

All parts are made from sustainably sourced materials, including FSC - Certified wood and natural cotton.  The set is 100% plastic free.

Materials/Ingredients

Our toys are made from high quality replanted woods, such as Rubberwood, plywood, and high-grade MDF. Rubberwood is a by-product of the rubber industry, we use it once its life as a rubber tree has ended and recycle it to become beautiful toys. We also make sure that our wood comes from sustainable forests, supporting local farmers and their communities, pledging to replant and replace what we use.

Our paints as well as all the components of our toys (wood, fabric etc) are rigorously tested at all stages of the design and production process to ensure they meet and exceeding the mandatory safety regulation in each territory.

Since 1995, Le Toy Van’s wooden toys and most of our packaging have been biodegradable. We have significantly reduced the use of single-use plastic in our packaging, and aim to be 100% plastic free.

Kid safe, always – The safety of your child is our number one priority. We rigorously test and regularly exceed toy safety standards. We only ever use safe, non-toxic paint and work hard – from design to manufacture – to ensure kid safe edges on our toys, for safe play every day.

Shipping

Orders are dispatched within 3 business days. During sale times dispatch will take longer than usual. Please be patient while we will pick, pack and ship your order as soon as possible.

FREE shipping for orders over $200.00* Otherwise a $9.00 flat rate for orders $199.99 and under or $14.00 for rural delivery.

* note some items have an oversize surcharge for shipping of $20.00 outside of Auckland.

Deliveries should arrive 3-5 business days from dispatch. Please use the tracking email to follow your delivery. Rural allow another few days for delivery. Please note that these are estimated delivery times only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once we have packed your order you will be emailed the tracking link. Tracking information will be available once the courier has picked up your parcel which can take up to 1 business day from when we have packed your order depending on their pick-up schedule.

Click + Collect
Pick up is available from our Hillcrest warehouse on the North Shore of Auckland.  We are open for pick-ups on Monday OR Wednesday between 10.00am and 2.00pm.  Simply choose "pickup in store" at the checkout page.  We will email you when your order is ready to collect as well as address and pick up instructions.

International

We ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

Due to recent U.S tariff changes, our primary shipper, NZ Post, has temporarily paused shipping to the United States (including Puerto Rico). Sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot unfortunately ship to the USA currently.
