SABO Fruit Set

The set includes 6 kinds of fruit: pomegranate, pear, apple, orange, lemon and 3 strawberries.

All are made from wood and covered with water-based paint - absolutely safe for children. The fruit are carefully sanded, so they are nice to touch.

Playing pretend games is huge part of child's world. Interacting with other children they practice their social skills, try roles in different situations and professions.
For example, playing with fruit & vegetables sets they act going to the grocery and interacting with the shop-assistant, or play the role of seller. This helps children to broaden their language skills and prepare for such interaction in real life.
Or, they can pretend cooking dinner - making a list of necessary products, checking if they have all of the ingredients and pretend cooking delicious meal! Thus, they train organisational skills as well as thinking and planning.

There may be some wood marks on toys. Our paint does not cover the pattern of wood, so it can be seen very beautifully - the lines and the spots. It means uniqueness of your toy.
Toys are smooth and carefully crafted so that it is nice to play with and to hold in hands, but sometimes it may be a little velvety to touch - it always depends on wood.
Our toys are topped with finnish (which is the same as paint: water-based and non-toxic), so that different parts do not colour each other. However, sometimes dark colours may leave marks on the light ones.
