Little Steven was six when he first went to the cinema. Although he didn’t understand the story, he was captivated by the beauty of the moving pictures on screen. Soon after, he picked up his Dad’s film camera and began experimenting. By his teens he was making short films – carefully crafting every part of the process, from writing the scripts to directing the shots.
Filmmaking was a refuge for Steven, who faced bullying and anti semitism at school. With his camera, editing machine and notebook he could create a world he felt safe in. As he grew, he found somewhere else he felt at home: Universal studios. He first visited the company’s lot during a studio tour, and was later hired after impressing executives with a short films. Within a few years, Steven went from making TV movies to cinematic blockbusters. Audiences fell in love with his heartwarming adventures, like ET and Jurassic Park, and were deeply moved by his film about the Holocaust, Schindler’s List.
After a lifetime of accolades and awards, Steven remains happiest behind a camera – telling stories that encourage us to open our hearts and minds.

ISABEL SANCHEZ VERGARA, born in Barcelona, Spain, is a writer and creative director in constant search of new concepts for children's books. Working for more than fifteen years for clients in top advertising agencies, her books combine creativity with learning, aiming to establish a new and fresh relationship between children and pop culture.
ENG GEE FAN, pronounced in Chinese as Ya Fan, graduated in Visual Communication, and after one and half years in the design industry, decided to embark on a full-time illustration career. She is currently based in Perlis, Malaysia, where she lives with her two dogs.

Deliveries should arrive 3-5 business days from dispatch. Please use the tracking email to follow your delivery. Rural allow another few days for delivery. Please note that these are estimated delivery times only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Once we have packed your order you will be emailed the tracking link. Tracking information will be available once the courier has picked up your parcel which can take up to 1 business day from when we have packed your order depending on their pick-up schedule.
Click + Collect
Pick up is available from our Hillcrest warehouse on the North Shore of Auckland. We are open for pick-ups on Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 2.00pm. Simply choose "pickup in store" at the checkout page. We will email you when your order is ready to collect as well as address and pick up instructions.
International
We ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.
Due to recent U.S tariff changes, our primary shipper, NZ Post, has temporarily paused shipping to the United States (including Puerto Rico). Sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot unfortunately ship to the USA currently.
